About IB

Those of you who are IB students don't need to hear about IB. If you are, this information will be obvious. Unlike other IB tutoring services in Dubai, IB LAB's sole focus is IB and all that is associated with it. Designed in 1960 in Switzerland, the International Baccalaureate (IB) was a program that aimed to create a rigorous educational environment and an internationally accepted diploma for university entrance. Due to the fact IB teaches students to think globally and write about various themes, it is typically regarded as an important addition to the possibility of college credit.

Kids can express themselves more creatively. It is common for students to choose the topics for their reports without being assigned a specific subject area. An IB Diploma can only be earned by attending an IB-approved school (known as an IB World School), like IB LAB. Graduates of an IB World School must complete all of their prerequisite requirements, which include taking classes in each of the six subject areas, passing their tests, and meeting three additional core requirements. There are often three programs in the IB curriculum: the Diploma Program, the Career Program, and programmes specifically designed for primary and middle school students. It depends on each school's requirements, but most will accept a 5 or above on the IB HL exam to receive credit for IB courses.

Through reading books written in foreign languages, learning foreign history, and learning another language, students who attend IB receive a well-rounded education that gives them a global perspective. A written component will be required in addition to the final exam at the end of the course. The result of the written component will be added to your overall IB score.
